What kind of buyer protection do you guys have for my purchase?
With our automatic package insurance protection policy for orders $100.01 and over (excluding tax and shipping charges, if applicable), UPS/FedEx automatically cover you $100 and below. Damages and losses are strictly the responsibility of the Carrier when under this amount threshold once the ordered shipment has been sent out (*UPS and FedEx ONLY — 'USPS' First-Class Mail postal service is excluded from this, as smaller packages chosen and sent via this method, when available, are Uninsured, and these damages or losses are your sole amenability! — though you may still file Claim for Lost/Missing or Damaged items chosen and sent via USPS 'Priority Mail' valued at $50 or below, at: https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm). Customer is responsible for making lost/missing claims with the appropriate carrier as soon as the lost/missing package is detected. For damage claims, please save all of your packaging, it must be available for inspection by the carrier. (for FedEx domestic claims online: https://www.fedex.com/en-us/customer-support/claims.html)
(for UPS domestic claims: https://www.ups.com/us/en/help-center/claims-support.page) - Regardless of package insurance, a UPS/USPS/FedEx delivery record will be conclusive proof of delivery against Loss claims. However in the rare case of Damaged product valued $100.01 and over (excluding tax and shipping charges, if applicable) which resulted in a DOA (dead on arrival) or otherwise Defective/malfunctioning product(s), WE will promptly file claim directly on your behalf with the appropriate shipping carrier to rectify these damages (again please save all of your packaging, as it must be available for inspection by the carrier, as they determine necessary). Please note all of your $249.99 and lower valued purchases (excluding tax and shipping charges, if applicable) are sent out by default with 'Shipper Release,' which authorizes a delivery without a signature requirement. Speedytronics does not accept any liability for loss or damage to the package(s) after delivery when all counter-claim criteria is met.
