Speedytronics currently only collects and remits sales taxes to the State of Colorado for all purchases with a shipment or delivery address within Colorado, as required by U.S. law, for transactions processed on Speedytronics.com. The current Colorado state Sales Tax rate charged on all applicable orders placed on Speedytronics.com is 8.85%, respectively.

- Due to a continually changing stock inventory (of which we update every 24 hours), it is always highly recommended to complete payment at time of checkout to ensure the availability of your item(s). We cannot guarantee availability of merchandise when payment is officially completed at a later date (e.g. such as with flagged payment security holds/verification, or delayed PayPal 'eCheck' payments and bank transfers), as we retain a strict no-item hold policy. PayPal™ allows you to make payments using a variety of methods including: PayPal Balance, bank account, credit card, PayPal Credit, and debit card. Because your protection against undelivered or defective goods will vary with each method, you should review this page to understand how you can select a payment method and how protection differs depending on your payment method.

Default Payment Methods ***
When you make a payment, if you have not selected a Preferred Payment Method, PayPal will fund your transaction in this order:
1) PayPal Balance
2) Instant transfer from your bank account (if eligible)
3) PayPal Credit (formerly Bill Me Later, PayPal Extras Card, or PayPal Smart Connect)
4) Debit card
5) Credit card
6) eCheck (a delayed transfer from your bank account - may result in significantly slower shipping by seller)
* Note: If you do not want to use your Balance, you can withdraw it before making a payment. For In-Store Checkout, PayPal™ will only use your Balance to fund your transaction if you select it as a Preferred Payment Method and you have sufficient Balance to cover the entire transaction amount. In-Store Checkout includes PayPal Grace Period transactions.
Preferred Payment Method -
You may select a Preferred Payment Method each time you make a payment, except when making a Preapproved Payment, a No Log-In Payment, or an In-Store Checkout payment. Certain Payment Methods may not be available for certain transactions if there are Payment Method limitations, including if you make a PayPal payment through certain third party websites or applications, or if you use PayPal for In-Store Checkout. For a Preapproved Payment or, in most instances, a No Log-In Payment, you can select a Preferred Payment Method when you provide your initial authorization for this payment and through the My Preapproved Payments section of your Account Profile (it may be called "Backup Payment Method").
If you set a PayPal Credit product or eCheck/Bank payment as your Preferred Payment Method in your Account Profile, it will be used to fund your PayPal payments first, even if you have a Balance. eCheck/Bank payment is not an available Payment Method for In-Store Checkout.
For Business Payments, you are limited to funding your PayPal payment with either (or both) your Balance or by eCheck/Bank payment.
Changing the Payment Method -
You may change the Payment Method at the time you make a payment by clicking the 'More Options'/'Change' link on the Confirm Your Payment/Review Your Information page and then selecting a payment method on the "More Funding Options" page. You may do this each time you make a payment if you do not have a Balance. If you have a Balance, you must use your entire Balance before you can change the payment method.
You cannot select a payment method for all future transactions, except that if you have been approved for PayPal Credit and PayPal Credit is an available Payment Method for the transaction, you may select PayPal Credit as your Preferred Payment Method. You may do so by logging in to your Account, selecting “Profile”, selecting your PayPal Credit product, and then setting it as your preferred funding source.
PAYMENT METHOD RIGHTS AND REMEDIES—
PayPal™ Purchase Protection -
PayPal Purchase Protection (also known as PayPal Buyer Protection) applies for certain, qualifying purchases regardless of the payment method. For these qualifying purchases, PayPal will cover you for the full amount of the item plus original shipping costs if you do not receive the item or if you receive an item but it is significantly different than the description the seller provided. To receive reimbursement for items that are Significantly not as described, you will be required to return the item to the seller, or in some cases to PayPal, and to pay the return shipping costs.
To be eligible for PayPal™ Purchase Protection, you must file a Dispute in the PayPal Resolution Center within 45 days of the date you sent the payment, escalate the Dispute to a Claim within 20 days of the date you filed the Dispute, and meet the eligibility criteria in Purchase Protection section of the PayPal User Agreement.
PayPal™ Credit Protection -
PayPal Credit (Bill Me Later, Inc) payment offers protection against unauthorized transactions and billing errors, including items not received and items received that are Significantly not as described. If any of these issues occur, you must file a dispute with PayPal within 60 days of the date of your first bill on which the issue occurred. You may file a dispute by either of these methods:

If you have an open Dispute or Claim with PayPal, and also file a dispute with PayPal Credit, PayPal will close your Dispute or Claim, and you will have to rely solely on your rights under your dispute with PayPal Credit.
If you pursue a Claim with PayPal and you do not receive a full recovery, you can then file a dispute with PayPal Credit. If PayPal does not make a final decision on your Claim until after PayPal Credit's deadline for filing a dispute, and because of our delay you recover less than the full amount you would have been entitled to recover from the PayPal Credit, PayPal will reimburse you for the remainder of your loss (minus any amount you have already recovered from the seller.
Credit Card Protection -
You may pursue a Dispute/Claim with PayPal, or you may contact your credit card company and file a chargeback. You may not pursue both at the same time or seek a double recovery. If you have an open Dispute or Claim with PayPal, and also file a chargeback with your credit card company, PayPal will close your Dispute or Claim, and you will have to rely solely on your chargeback rights.
If you pursue a Claim with PayPal and if you do not receive a full recovery, you can then file a chargeback. If PayPal does not make a final decision on your Claim until after your credit card issuer's deadline for filing a chargeback, and because of our delay you recover less than the full amount you would have been entitled to recover from the credit card issuer, we will reimburse you for the remainder of your loss (minus any amount you have already recovered from the seller).
Credit card companies must abide by these statutory guidelines, including but not limited to the following:
- If a consumer claims a “billing error” because an item is not received or is refused at the time of delivery, the card issuer is obliged to investigate, resolve, and to correct written claims filed by the consumer within 60 days of receipt of the applicable credit card statement.
- If a consumer claims a dispute with a merchant, the card issuer is obliged to investigate and resolve consumer claims, provided the consumer: (i) has not paid for the charge (ii) has made a good faith attempt to settle the dispute with the merchant (iii) lives in the same state as or within 100 miles of the merchant and (iv) paid more than $50 for the item.
You should contact your credit card issuer to learn more about your rights and remedies.
Debit Card Protection -
Your debit card issuer is not required by law to provide you with protection against items that you do not receive or that are significantly not as described. Many debit card issuers voluntarily provide protection similar to the chargeback rights provided by credit card issuers.
PayPal may process debit card transactions through either (a) an ATM debit network such as STAR or NYCE, or (b) a Visa or MasterCard network. If we process your debit card through an ATM debit network, we may provide you with the opportunity to switch to a Visa or MasterCard network by clicking the "Funding Sources" link on the payment confirmation page. Choosing the Visa / MasterCard network may give you additional protection compared to the ATM debit networks. You should contact your debit card issuer to learn more about your rights and remedies if you pay with your debit card.
Bank Account Protection -
Your bank is not required by law to provide you with protection against items that you pay for with a bank transfer but that you do not receive or that are significantly not as described. You should contact your bank to determine if they voluntarily provide any purchase protection.

Speedytronics utilizes a 30-Day Returns policy on all qualifying defective and all qualifying non-defective merchandise only, *unless otherwise specifically indicated on the item's product page (*per manufacturer's restrictions and regulations—and in these instances, the manufacturer themselves are required to directly handle any request)
- To cover service and distribution charges, a 15% standard return processing/restocking fee from merchandise total will be assessed. There are no restocking fees for Defective items. Inspected merchandise found non-defective upon a defective claim, a 30% processing fee from merchandise credit total will be applied. Original and Return/Exchange shipping fees are non-refundable, where applied. However, we will ship out new Replacements in the case of a Defective-exchange, free of charge. Upon receipt and inspection, we reserve the right to refuse returns altogether or deduct percentages based on condition of return on a case-by-case basis (in extraordinary situations, or when we make rare exception for an otherwise ineligible return, we may issue coupons, discounts, or Store credit-only)—
Return credit deductions are based on guidelines as follows:
'Excellent condition' - (15% *standard):
• Unused, undamaged, or unaltered in any way
• All items included in the original package
• Factory or vacuum seal must not be broken/opened (if applicable)
• Original tags included & attached (where applicable)
'Good condition' - (20% deduction):
• Missing original packaging
• Factory or vacuum seal is broken/opened, but the item is still in its original condition
• Original tags included but unattached (where applicable)
'Fair condition' - (30% deduction):
• Missing basic/misc. parts or accessories
• Shows some identifiable signs of wear or use
• Item has been installed
• Item has been registered or user has not logged out of the device's account, and it cannot easily be set back to factory settings
• Original tags missing (where applicable)
'Poor condition' - (50% deduction):
• Significant signs of wear, or significantly different than how it was originally shipped
• Missing essential parts
• Item is damaged, scratched, defective, or requires service or repair
• Opened items that cannot be resold (perishables, liquor, makeup)
- Standard Item Returns will always be accepted as long as these basic minimum requirements are met:
**1*. All original packaging and accessories are intact (and don't worry if you had torn or otherwise opened for example the plastic packaging of your item).
**2*. The return request itself is officially made within a 30-day period from date of receipt (delivery) of item.
**3*. The requested return item does NOT meet the criteria outlined below for Restricted Item returns.
**4*. Obtain an authorized RA# (and this can be done, along with your request, by Getting Support directly, or simply emailing support at: support@speedytronics.com - stating your Order # and basic outline of problem)
*!! Important tip on RMA's !!*: Defective and Non-defective product will only be accepted in returnable/resalable condition with all its original packaging. Do Not write the RA number that you receive on the original product packaging (instead, write this legibly on the shipping label itself, or on the box near the shipping label, but assuring barcodes/numbers etc. are not accidentally overwritten - e.g. RA# xxxxx), as this will make the product ineligible for resale, and more importantly, your refund!
- Once the RMA request is received and processed and you have obtained your official number, you will also be simultaneously given our Returns Warehouse mailing address for your package.
- Most Return Authorization numbers are good for fourteen (14) days after issuance and expire thereafter, unless otherwise specifically indicated. Any products received after expiration date indicated in official RMA instruction message/email will be refused and you will forfeit the shipping costs (not be reimbursed).
Restricted Item returns -
Because of specific manufacturer requirements, distribution agreements and other preset regulations, certain product lines and brands are unable to be returned to us directly (instead, to the Manufacturer or manufacturer-suggested Authorized Repair Center for Repair/Replacement services only) and subject to specific restrictions which include an overriding of our standard product Return Policy. The following brands/lines are currently subject to these controls, and will otherwise also be indicated per item listing (on item's main product page):
(Lines) -
for Home and Mobile A/V Subwoofers/Speakers: Our Return Policies do not cover subwoofers or speakers if they contain blown voice coils or if the speakers themselves have been torn or punctured. This is considered physical damage and is not covered by our Return Policy nor the standard Manufacturer's warranty.
for Personal Care/Health and Fitness products: such as electric shavers, hair products, fitness/exercise equipment and accessories, and other personal bodily-contact merchandise: Returns accepted with all accessories and packaging intact and in unused and brand new original condition only. No exceptions. Defective product for same-item replacement only.
for Video Game Systems and Software: Speedytronics tracks serial numbers on all gaming consoles. Defective return time is 30 days from original *purchase date. All console returns must include console, controller(s), software/games (if bundle pack), A/V cables and power cords, and original box and packaging. Customer will be charged for missing parts accordingly. All defective software must be returned for same product replacement only. No store exchange credit. Qualifying software returns are only accepted in un-opened and original-boxing condition. Opened software/media/blank media are explicitly non-returnable (unless had arrived damaged/broken).
for Furniture: Any furniture items that have been assembled (if product arrives unassembled), or any furniture containing obvious signs of usage and/or blemished conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in the merchandise being returned to buyer at buyer expense.
(Brands) -
JVC: No returns for credit on color televisions, Plasma, LCD TV, VCR, DVD, TV/DVD, Home Theater-in-a-box or camcorders. JVC Authorized service center repair only (800-537-5722).
Panasonic CE: No returns for credit on video, DVD, portable DVD, LCD, plasma, color televisions, fax machines or camcorders. Panasonic Consumer Electronics Authorized customer service center for repair only. (800-222-4213).
Toshiba: No returns for credit for TV, LCD TV, Plasma, DVD, portable DVD, VCR, DVD Recorders, Home Theater-in-a-box, TV/VCR or TV/DVD. Toshiba Authorized customer service center for repair only. (800-631-3811).
ViewSonic: Returns limited to 30 days. Absolutely no exceptions. Must meet all other standard Return Policy critera. Viewsonic serial numbers are tracked and is required for return.
Yamaha: No returns for credit for A/V Receivers, Sound Bars, HTiB (Home Theater-in-a-Box systems), Blu-ray and DVD Players. Speedytronics must abide by the official return policies and procedures as dictated and required by our manufacturers/distributors. Please allow up to 7-10 business days warehouse processing time for all Standard item returns/exchanges to be officially accepted and credited. All refund credits are automatically applied to the same payment account used for the original purchase (* Store credit-only may be issued in appropriate circumstances).
Customer is solely responsible for shipping any returned product to Speedytronics.com. Customer agrees to use only reputable shipping carriers capable of providing at minimum proof of delivery, and optional insurance for the entire value of the shipment (recommended). Customer agrees to bear all shipping and insurance charges and all risk of loss for the return product during shipment. Customer agrees that all returned products will be 100% complete, in re-saleable condition (unless arrived broken or otherwise defective), and will include all original packaging materials, manual(s), blank warranty card(s), and any other accessories as was originally provided by the manufacturer (regardless if arrived broken or otherwise defective).
ALL QUALIFYING RETURNABLE PRODUCT MUST BE IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING, WITH ALL MANUFACTURING MANUALS, PARTS AND ACCESSORIES. ANY DEVIATION FROM RETURN POLICIES WILL CONSTITUTE A BREACH OF AGREEMENT AND CONSEQUENTLY RESULT IN CHARGEBACKS, PENALTIES &/OR OTHER FEES, UP TO AND INCLUDING REFUSAL OF PRODUCT AND DENIAL OF ANY RA CREDIT WHATSOEVER. RETURN SHIPPING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE (INCLUDING DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE). In rare cases when an original item had arrived broken or otherwise defective, Replacements will be sent via standard Ground at no charge!
- All items returned that are incorrect, visibly abused or damaged by Customer will not be accepted and will be automatically refused by our Returns Warehouses.
- Return Policy does not cover damage to any merchandise due to improper installation, an item physically altered by the end-user/consumer, or from services performed by parties other than Speedytronics

Customer is responsible for making lost/missing claims with the appropriate carrier as soon as the lost/missing package is detected. - Regardless of package insurance, a UPS/USPS/FedEx delivery record will be conclusive proof of delivery against Loss claims. However in the rare case of Damaged product valued $100.01 and over (excluding tax and shipping charges, if applicable) which resulted in a DOA (dead on arrival) or otherwise Defective/malfunctioning product(s), WE will promptly file claim directly on your behalf with the appropriate shipping carrier to rectify these damages (again please save all of your packaging, as it must be available for inspection by the carrier, as they determine necessary). Please note all of your $249.99 and lower valued purchases (excluding tax and shipping charges, if applicable) are sent out by default with 'Shipper Release,' which authorizes a delivery without a signature requirement. Speedytronics does not accept any liability for loss or damage to the package(s) after delivery when all counter-claim criteria is met.
*If you are uncomfortable with having UPS/FedEx just leave your package at your doorstep because there is a chance nobody would be home, for an extra $4.25 per package, you can add 'Delivery Confirmation Signature Required' to your order. Just simply contact us or email us at support@speedytronics.com before or after checkout with your Name and Order # for a subsequent separate invoice, and this extra shipping service will be included (if available for specific item). This additional service is included free when you make a $250 or higher purchase (standard Signature).
****Any order that includes an incorrect ship-to address, or any order that after the 3rd delivery attempt is made by the shipper (in cases of Signature-required purchases or incorrect/Undeliverable address), your package will automatically be returned to our warehouse facility and you will be responsible for the item's re-shipping costs including an automatic 15-20% warehouse return restocking/processing charge. Please contact Customer Support immediately if nobody will be home or available in these rarer circumstances, and if available as an option, we will arrange to have your package securely held at an official nearby qualifying carrier package Hold location for pick-up.

Packages presumed to be lost -
Order issues for packages presumed to be lost by the carrier (where the status is not "delivered") must be filed no sooner than 7 days after the last tracking update for United States domestic shipments (20 days for international shipments, including Canada unless a Canadian merchant is shipping within Canada in which case the 7 day domestic shipment timeline applies) and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.
Delivered but missing package -
At our discretion, Route requires a police report when the customer’s package is marked as delivered.
1) Customer files the police report and includes an explanation that Route is a package protection company that has protected the customer’s package that has been stolen. To process the order issue with Route, Route is requiring a police report.
2) Send Route the police report PDF & number in the order issue.
Upon request, Route can require additional documentation (e.g. proof of identity, address, etc.).
Note: Depending upon the jurisdiction, a false police report may be charged as a misdemeanor or a felony
**Order issues for packages marked "delivered" yet not received are considered by Route as stolen and must be filed 5 days after “delivery date” but no longer than 15 days to ensure it was not misdelivered or easily found around the premises.
Damaged & Broken Items Policies -
Broken items:
If the customer received a broken item and needs to dispose of it (i.e. shattered glass), the customer needs to check their city ordinances and dispose of it properly.
The customer does not need to ship it back to the retailer (unless the retailer indicates otherwise).
Damaged items:
A damaged item is considered to be a broken product that is unusable, clearly fractured, shattered, bent (if not bendable), crushed, etc.
Route does not cover cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, etc.), manufacturing damages, packaging errors, or unsealed items. At our discretion, we may offer a 15-30% refund depending on the severity of the cosmetic damage.
Route requires further evidence of the customer’s damaged item (i.e. more photos, videos, etc.).
General Policies -
Input wrong address:
If the customer entered the wrong address at the time of order, Route does not cover this. The customer needs to reach out to the retailer to remedy the incorrect address.
Quality control:
If the customer is unsatisfied with their product, Route is not a product replacement plan and the order issue cannot be approved. The customer needs to reach out to the retailer. This request may be covered under the retailer’s return policy.
